Default 2011 Corolla brake lights stopped working

The brake lights and high mount stop lamp are not lightening up on pressing the break but the lights do work in parking/low beam but not when brake is pressed

Yesterday the driver had lightly crashed the car while reversing into a rickshaw and today I drove it and found the the lights weren't working
Has the crash anything to do with it?
It was minor some scratches and broken clips but bumper remained intact and did not deform

I checked the connects in the trunk they seem well
I traced the wiring behind the covers in the trunk that seems good too though I saw some nitto tape
The car has the stupid lights in the reflectors installed maybe it's those wire connections

Anyways I looked in the owners Manual and the fuse for the those brake lights is the same for fuel injection pump or injection system I think it mentioned
And that's working fine so I presume fuse is fine

Lastly the car is a gov owned car so the office will repair whatever the fault and they will either take it to some local shop or to Toyota 3S without my presence

Please advise how can I fix it

My thinking is either that reflector light caused a short when the car was hit but fuse seems to be fine as the other functions are working correctly
Should I remove and check it?
If it's really also connected to injection system removing and reinstalling can't cause any harm or check engine light right ?

Can it be the light control module that Toyota cars have I think in trunk or under seat has gone faulty ?

maybe your brake light switch is not working inside the the car driver side...check it as you already checked the connectors and fuses

it is at your brake arm usually up inside toward dash you can see it from by laying position in driver side it is pressed by brake arm when you engage the brake if all other things are right then this switch will be culprit to check the sithc remove its plug then put jumper in ti if light start working then change the switch

    @ch_ahmed

    Update

Checked the brake switch it's fine it's transmitting voltage
Double checked the fuses they are fine as well

It seems there's a break somewhere in the wiring from the switch to the lights

Is there a brake module in the car under the seat or in the trunk?

Now I think there's a short in the wire possibly from the those after market lights in the reflectors after getting hit any suggestions?

The car has been sent to Toyota 3S, on the phone they said they will check it with a scanner but I don't think scanner will show any issue of brake lights, just useless charges
But the car has been sent to Toyota let's see what they say

ok that must be wiring problem to check wiring check the voltage at light terminal on positive wire for doing this you must press the brake pedal for this you can try jumper at brake switch and check the voltage at light terminal if it is not coming then you have only option to rewire the lines....

I knew those lights would have something to do with the issue. Good to know that the issue has been solved. Will remove the aftermarket lights on my friends car to see if his problem is solved.

true that, toyota 3s although coudnt trace the issue they did find a burt relay which they said did not belong to the original wiring and infant said that in 7 years they had never seen such a relay in newer models, so i guess it played a part but the relay was not the cause of this particular problem or at least changing it didn't fix it, the loose connections were
