    Unhappy Oxygen sensor of Toyota Corolla Gli 2010

    My car is not giving well performence
    1.Pick of the car is very low
    2.Fuel economy is not good
    3.Steering is also hard..means not smooth..
    I have recntly checked my car.. Mechanic ask me to replace the o2 sensor.
    bcz when he de-attach the sensor Grip my car works good. but when again attach it works bad...

    Is this true??? Should i change the sensor..??My car is only driven 1lac miles..

    it is supposed to be checked with a scanner, you have to see it's graph to be sure

    R u sure your car is driven 1 lac miles? I believe you meant to say 1 lac KM....anyhow get your car scanned...

    First of all get it scanned and analyze the reading's and then decide to work on it. Buy analyzing the symptoms and behavior's only it is foolish step to do. So go for the right procedure. Get it scanned first.

    This thread is the most important one for those having O2 check lights including me. The same issue happened to me from few days and after OBD scan i was warned for O2 sensor with the recommendation of replacement. Whenever i reset ECU it went off and show it's miserable face again after few days. The technician warned me for haecy fuel consumption (Petrol only) if not changed early.
    I found this thread very informative but incomplete and very old i.e. 2012. The first bearer of thread should have definitely solved his O2 problem and he can now share his experience for other PW's.
    Did you replaced the same?
    How was its performance afterwards?
    Any other issues if not replaced?
