Default How to improve 11th generation Corolla Pathetic Lighting.

Assalam - o -alikum to all fellows. I hope everyone is fine and enjoying life with good health.

I have been driving New corolla for the past 4 months and i personally feel that its headlights are pathetic for night driving specially on highways in south punjab and sindh. Can anyone please guide how can i improve lights for good visibility at night without voiding warranty and without putting extra load on original wiring and headlight glass. Thanks

I hope this thread would help alot of new corolla owners.

    Thanks.

you can try and put SMD light bulb instead of halogen ones....SMDs are LEDs so won't damage any wiring and glass of the headlamp
i haven't used them personally but my dear friend has in his indus corolla... light is similar to an hid but not as bright and damaging to your car and other road users

Just came back from rahimyar khan and people here always drive with high beams and hids in halogen lights. In addition to above, there are no road signs cat eyes in the middle or sides and absence of road divider from sindh border along with 2din sugarcane trolleys make matter worse.

Shall i install Phillips bulbs in my halogen lamps or go for some other bulb. Another option in my mind is installation of HID projectors and HIds in place of fog lights.

They do but sinkers sath mein hi lage atay hain so its not an issue.....on the other hand if u go for hids... please avoid cheap ones because they will destroy your headlights!!!Aur galiyan alag paren gi philips are good choice but use only recommended power range bulbs only avoid high voltage light

i was also thinking for HID projectors but they cost around 25K and a big DIY on brand new car. moreover, this diy also voids electrical warranty.

100% agreed on VTI_5 reply. If you dont want to retrofit then go for Osram night breakers. Atleast it will be better than stock.

Yes if they are of more than 100 watts they can damage the head light specially its reflector plus its wiring too due to its load.
