The Altis' engine (1ZZ-FE) is back-spec'd for 5w-20 oil. Zic A+ would be the best.

I have this car and believe me this thing doesn't need something fancy. 5W30 or 10W40 is good enough. I use Castrol 5W30.

Toyota GLI, XLI, Altis, etc. in Pak. are advised to use 5w30 for better fuel economy.
    Or 10w30 as second choice.

So first choice should be 5w30 which is an expensive oil too.
Or as a 2nd choice, you may choose Toyota's Oil 10w30 which is good.

follow the owners manual and the api ratings given theirin, you'll be fine with any oil that matches that spec, brand wont make much of a difference, all oils that matches that spec in your words" will be good" for your car.

if you want the best then i personally use Mobil 1 0W-40 in my 2006 altis 55k driven.
