Default Confused b\w remove Cng from corolla or not

Assalam Alaikum frnds.. As title says I have corolla gli 2010 model in med silver colour Cng fitted and is running perfect on both petrol and Cng but since last 5 months iam driving it on just petrol and is very very much satisfied from its consumption and personally I just don't like Cng vehicles and I want to remove it's Cng kit completely and drive it as stock... Kindly give me your precious opinions whether to remove Cng kit or not and whether it will affect on the resale of car or not as iam not going to sale the car for upcoming 4 to 5 years..

Sell it bro, your life will become so much easier. Its a fact that CNG totally messes up the upper part of newer engines... It results in overheating and eventual premature death of the motor. In short you spend trying to fix more than what you have saved(counting the cost of hassle as well).

Unless you have a suzuki Hi roof which does 100 km a day, CNG doesn't make economical sense.

A friend of mine has same model of civic with almost equal number of miles and maintained the same way, the cng wali civic now runs with direct fan and has had its radiator serviced a few times. The engine is a lot of noisier and idle is not perfect. On the other hand, my civic still starts, sounds and runs like a brand new car. It has never been overheated and the radiator or other components never required service. We connected OBD II monitor on both cars and ran under the same conditions, the CNG wali civic even with direct fan eventually gets much hotter.

I have gotten used to the price of petrol and now its a permanent part of my budget.

u get 25-30k for cng kits in karachi.
I think the impact on reseal should be same amount. besides when ur selling your car after 3-4 years with an additional 30-40 km on top of your current mileage with your engine sounding smooth and silky i don't think it would make a considerable difference.

wait till budget announcement. CNG price will be reduced with 5 days a week avlblty across country. The issue is MORE of political milage then the availability and cost of production. Price was to be reduced from 1st of May but somehow the summary is freezed.

expected price reduction for CNG is below Rs. 60 / kg

No it will not reduce the resale. Infact people prefer car which is driven on primary fuel.

do you experience rpm drops , when shifting gears?specially when you are caught up in traffic.enigne vibrates a little then moves on.
a 2010 model running on cng is destined to have a head overhaul.

Apart from the above mentioned reasons, 7/10 cars running on CNG as primary fuel run into petrol delivery related issues sooner or later. We leave old petrol in tanks and forget about consuming at least half a tank every month....Its just too much work.
