in 2010, gli was just a 1300cc car with a manual gearbox but power windows and abs. Altis was the fully loaded model with 1800cc engine, and a list of options like cruise control, air bag, sunroof, leather and automatic gearbox.
A gli is more fuel economical whereas the altis is plain power, resale wise people prefer the gli because it consumes less fuel. this is basically all you need to know.

Well Altis is more or less same fuel economy wise due to better power to weight ratio

If i need to buy 2010 model corolla then i will go for Altis as Altis has already dropped its resale value and i will be getting altis in the price range of Gli or a difference of around 50k. I will enjoy altis extra features that it offers rather staying on basic features of Gli. i will not be worried about altis next resale as it already broke 4 to 5 lac. i will sell it in two to three years and hopefully it will go on the same price or might get a loss of 50k but so is the Gli too if i sell GLI after two years, it will also give me a loss of 50k so why not enjoy the extra features of Altis

Depends on the fact if you can afford the fuel for it, then why not. Go right ahead

In the manual one, yes. Not sure about the auto one, and try to get the original Toyota cng kit. That works really well
