    Default Toyota Corolla Gli 2015 "Experience" Sharing

    Salam Experts, Gurus and Fellow Members,

    First i would like to appreciate Mr. Faoudbakht and Autophile brother posts on pakwheels, they are gr8 writters and very helpful to new comers.

    I got my ride gli 1.3/mt yesterday and thought of sharing some experience and get some advice from you guyz.

    1. Awesome ride and driving pleasure, as i had 2011 corolla before but this time difference is too much. Just like I am converted from tractor

    2. Ac Response is normal not good as i was expected

    3. As faoudbakht brother told that they have added springs and coils so very comfortable and smooth ride

    4. I didnt feel any problem with headlights at night as my other fellows were complaining..its fine and have much better visibility then previous model.

    5. You shuld hav good experience in driving while driving this car due to blind spots unlike city

    6. I have driven so fr 40 kms only and we had a very swear Dust storm yesterday in multan so thats why didint posts the pic of my new ride , will post soon after getting her washed.

    I need kind support from faoaudhbhaie to help me in purchasing Foglights along with phiilips extreme vision, as here Toyota Multan motors saying original fog lamps would cost 30,000 Rs lolzz.....

    Best Regards

    not many will point this weakness of new corolla because they are still in the NAWEE GADDI bubble.

    nice that you pointed it right away.

    Medium Silver is the best colour in the current corolla, I switched from White to silver like 20days before the delivery and luckily i got it.

    Not at all. If a painter knows his job well no problem in matching shade. Find a reputable workshop with dust proof bake paint booth

    True Metalic colours are easily caught when painted, but matching shades is taken care if one get it repaired for Authorized Dealer - they cover it well.

    Wide-Eye i meant, for this car sides views from driving seat are week, I feel like I am not getting the correct view from its side mirrors, the only thing I see in partial back door with its bulging side horizon.

    again for the control and driving experience this car gets 6/10.

    I initially felt that about side mirrors, but when I adjusted them and also my driving position their coverage is excellent and even with a dark shade on the back window glass, I can see what's coming behind from both mirrors.

    PS: Your bigger tires might have lifted the height so you are having problem in control and driving experience.

    Height should not be effected here.

    it does get affected bhai and wider tire means less control while cornering.

    Here it says: 776 Revs / Mile on 215 AND 807 Revs / Mile on 195 Does this means I am getting a mile in lesser reves on 215 compared to Standard 195 one, which means better mileage

    ^^ Thank You

    Mud Flaps rupees 800 and Rupees 100 for fitting, with matching trim they should not cost more than 1500 - 2000 from Authorized Dealer and from Road side ustad Max 1000.

    Its 65% of 215, so yes height has increased.

    Sorry Masroor Bhai, will have to disagree with you big time. There is nothing techy in removing the plastic covers and cleanly installing the fog lamps. At IMC humans do this job not precision controlled computers and robots.

    @KamranAslam and @autophile

    The increase in tyre dimensions by that proportion should in no way affect the handling and ride characteristics. I second what Kamran bhai observed first hand.

    @navidhashmi

    By all means confidently go for fog lights. Not just for the shashka part alone but for better visibility and safety. How? You do agree that the dashboard is tad high and so is the front of the car. Unlike other models, there is a lot of area that is dead in terms of visibility to the driver and this is where the fog lamps come into play. Let me try to illustrate it to you in another way:

    Just look at the high elevation of the front of the car even while the photograph has been taken from an elevated angle.
