Default Help needed reguarding Ac compressor. Altis 2012

    Hi everyone .
Recently had noticed an issue in my Altis 2012 Aircon , that when the car is going below 2000Rmp and when suddenly its accelerated quickly so the Airconditioner used to trip on for about 2-3 seconds .
Showed the Car to the Toyota dealer ship and a Local mechanic both said that it is because to maximize the power for the Engine that why the Ac is tripped . And the same was said By @zulfiqar bhai .
So the problem remains . This should not happen in daily driving like it should only happen if you press the accelerator full but it keeps on happening even if i slow gradually speed up the car and as soon as it goes above 2000Rpm so it trips for 2 Second . I think it is its fucntion but i guess mine is a bit slow in doing so !
Any idea guys? Experts please help

If they were to do their way they will just feel and tell now suction side is cooling now you rock. I have seen AC guys flipping over the cylinder and charging by liquid. I think buying is not maintaining your car is real pain here in Pakistan. However i also read on other forums abroad people also do stupid things but ratio is very less. My cousion in canada had mechanic to swap i dont know something like clutch plate of his 350z and quote was 2000 CAD. if they pay mechs there should be doing good job i guess. atleast they study hynes manual

The low side pressure yesterday when i checked was normal you can see yesterday's pictures. Today it wasnt like that i guess that is because of the gas that was lost yesterday?

Its Written On Tag Place In Your Engine Room Or In Your Car Somewhere Till Its Not Removed...Charge By Weight Is Best Thing If You Know Quantity Of Ref Required

Also Check Owners Manual If Shld Also Be There.... Else Look For AXIO's Owners/Service Manual...And Quantity Shld Be Appx Same To That.... You Can Double Check By Adding Quantity And Matching Readings By Ambient PT Chart

If You Have No Clue....You Can ALways Charge By Ambient P/T Chart ...Your Readings Might Come Good....

You Can Ask Any Fellow PW Member Or Look For Sticker In Any Other Car If You Misses It...Its Always Helpful & Best To Charge By Known Quantity...Almost Zero Chances Of Add MORE/LEss Ref....Just Need Good Digital Scale With .05Gm Or .10gm Least Count....

Okies your readings does not seems to be too off. If there is 38 degrees then according to chart you need to add little more gas.
Thing is there is also a possibility that your pressure switch is going bad. This is a switch that is there where you have H grey cap.

If i were you then i will diagnose as follow

    1. Do i have correct pressure readings
    2. If pressure on High side is not abnormally high or Low (as in your case) i would suspect that either it is bad pressure switch (costs 500 or so) or i may have clutch or coil problem.
    3. Before loosing my previous refrigrant i will figure it out as i will hook volt meter or test light to the clutch energizing wire. I will raise the rpm or what ever replicates the symptoms.
    4. If i loose voltages at the clutch wire this rules out the clutch and coil.
    5. If voltages are still there but compressor is not running then i will see either it is clutch or it is coil.

But that is just me and i am honestly not a Toyota guy. I believe toyota compressor comes with sensor so i think either @SER_GTR or @Xulfiqar or @capsat are your guys.

By the way if you ever have to charge gas from scratch do it by weight only not by checking return line if it is cool or not. Start by min weight if your car takes 430 +- 30 then first stop at 400 and let it stabelize if you get good vent readings leave it

The pressure switch you are talking about ,i removed that switch and again fitted it . and bingo its perfectly fine now ? No tripping issue now !! Thanks a bunch Sir . i think that switch was loose or whatever . Will further check that switch by a mechanic and Fullfill the lost Gas by Honda . They are charging 1000Rs for gas storing and 6Rs per gram for whatever amount that needs to be filled other then the recovered gas! btw toyota dealership is charging 3k for restoring gas and 8Rs per gram .
