    Default Toyota corolla gli 1.6L gear issue

    My automatic gli transmission gear is sometimes stuck in parking gear and doesn't unlock when I start and press brake.. Then some times is totally fine.. What could be the issue??

    Check u r parking space. Do u park on a slope. Do u put to P and the enguage ur hand brake?

    It's is parked on the plain surface.. I didn't use the hand brake

    For the next few times when u park, stop the car in neutral, pull u r hand brake, and then put in P. Later u start just start normaly and check if the problem persist.

    There is no problem with the above method.. Someone told me to do oiling of the gear cable
