10th Gen is going to be launched next year in Pakistan so, i wouldn't suggest you to buy it. Rest, you can decide it.

Else, Altis 1.8 Would be a nice choice.

Go for altis 1.8 A/T non grande if that is your budget and you will not regret money spend while driving its joyful ride, if you can afford then opt Grande with full of features. if considering resale then 1.6 Altis is a good option better then 1.3 Gli A/T.

Najam bhai, I am in a similar dilemma as well. Can't decide whether to go with 1.6 or 1.8 CVTi non grande. My research says that all 1.8 variants resale is quite slow compared to 1.3 and 1.6. One may have to bear some monetary loss if he has to dispose of the car quickly. Honda Civic also doesn't enjoy much of a good resale either. But both Toyota and Honda lure their customers into buying the 1.8 variants because of additional features being offered in both.

Altis 1.6 and 1.8 CVTi non grande has a price difference of almost 200K + WHT filer difference is 25K + Registration filer difference is 5-6K, so total comes out to be about 230K, but in this extra amount, you get the following additional features/things

    1. 200 cc more powerful and modern engine 2ZR-FE
    2. Latest CVTi technology
    3. Cruise control
    4. Better quality seat covers
    5. Chrome lining on door handles
    6. Fog lights
    7. Front chrome grill complete
    8. Auto retractable side mirrors
    9. Multi info. Display with LCD
    10. Driver side air bag
    11. Rear reclining seats
    12. Keyless entry with remote trunk opener
    13. 8 inch android based infotainment with internet connectivity option and navigation maps included (1.6 contains 7 inch windows CE based infotainment without internet connectivity option and built in navigation maps)
    14. Some of the members have claimed that 1.8 variants contain better insulation material keeping the cabin quieter, as compared to 1.6 and 1.3 variants.
    15. 1.8 variants also contain some material present on the inside of bonnet which helps to keep the engine within acceptable temperature levels.

Not sure about point No. 14 and 15. Other respected members may throw light on this.

So, my judgement is if you are planning to keep the car for a good 6-7 years, then Altis 1.8 CVTi is worth the marginal price.

For point No. 15 i acknowledge that hood inner liner is present in Altis 1.8 whereas it is not present in Altis 1.6.

Few pakwheels friends claim that spark plugs of Altis 1.8 is of high quality whereas 1.3 & 1.6 is of low quality. I think same goes for headligh bulbs too and other mechanical/ electric parts too.
