Default Engine not turning off after switching of the ignition switch

    Salam
I have bought gli 2006 recently and facing a strange problem
When I run the car on patrol it runs fine but when I switch off the ignition switch cng conversion switch remain on and engine remain on with Buck buck sound when I turn the key to on position it become normal mean engine remains start with no buck buck sound. Then I have to convert the car on cng then it switches off normal.
2nd problem is that I have to press the pedal slightly on starting the car. If I don't press the pedal it will not start for next 2-3 attempts.
Third thing is that when I start the car on petrol it's rpm goes to around 1900 and stays there for next 2-3 mins and then slowly comes down to 1100,but on cng it goes to 1900then comes down to 1000 in less than 2 sec.
Can any body tell me that what could be the issue and how to resolve that.
    Thankx.

simply keep your car in 2nd or higer gear and leave the clutch idle, engine will switch off

Do you mean your car is dieseling? Try using fuel from another pump, or add some high octane petrol and see if it resolves the engine running issue as well as the starting issue.

I read your question again....seems both cng and petrol are being mixed instead of engine switching off. Take the car to an electrician.

Err the connections of the cng switch are not the way that they are supposed to be, get that checked. Someone has used a juggar to make the car work on cng, you just need to fix that. a good cng mechanic is all you need.

    de-carbonize the combustion chamber,
If better were within, better would come out.

Thanks Bros for your feed back.
I took my Corolla to an electrician he said some wiring was wrong. He rewired some wires to remove the engine not turning off fault.
Fuel pump ang cng kit piston replaced to remove long star up problem.
He made some other adjustments, now I really enjoying my Corolla drive.

I was disappointed to see that Corolla still using mechanical steel wires or gararies to change the blower direction even in new models but my daewoo 1993 (22year old model ) model uses vacum.

That's because corolla's are made with the thought to take abuse, so they prefer to make things durable

It is quite simple to solve this issue. Adjust the idle speed between 650 - 700 rpm when the engine is operating temperature.

It is nothing to do with the advancer. The only reason is that the idle speed is too high. The reason being that the throttle plate remains open more than required at idle speed, thus allowing more air to enter into the combustion chamber which in turn give rise to lean air/ fuel ration mixture. It also happens if the throttle plate is worn out severally.
