    Default Speedometer

    Salam all,
    It happened today when i was on m2 and was going on about 120+ km/h and suddenly speedometer guage stoped working, after 40-50 kms it started working again, but whenever i cross 105 it drops again so i just wanna ask what could be the reason?

    It just fluctuate, i think the cable is loose from gearbox cause i got some work done some days before, they removed the gear and cables as well so will get it checked tomorrow.

    you need to re-seat the speedo cable over the transmission side, if problem persist check for the flip clip in of the cable in dash cluster too

    If your car is 2004 2.0d corolla then there is no speed meter cable which is used to measure the speed. Instead of cable your car has VSS chexk for loose connection between the sensor and sensor 3wire grip.
