    These are their tactics to sell their units in Nov, Dec. I was told that Rs 50000/- price will increase in Jan 2015 but actually no price increase.

    Agree with the brother above. It is wise to buy when needed, and when demand is low. I was planning to book Altis 1.6 in 2016 to get the 2016 model. When contacted dealership, I was informed that Altis 1.6 was available on one month booking. So, realizing the fact that if I go for 2016 model, I would have had to wait for March or April 2016 because of greater demand, I booked mine last month to get it within one month, In shaa Allaah.

    A well maintained 2015 end model may fetch you even more than a poorly maintained 2016 model. Cheers

    There is a condition mentioned in PBO that a customer will be entitled to claim full refund of the payment made to IMC, if either one of the two, or both conditions exist:

    1. Car isn't delivered within the month mentioned on PBO;
    2. Car price is increased by IMC at the time of delivery (excluding an increase in car price because of government imposed taxes).

    One of the dealer asked for EXtra money to get car in January.

    Just sold my Corolla 2007. Now looking forward to buying a Corolla Altis 1.6. Should i book the car now, and should i wait for 2016? What are the benefits of waiting till 2016?

    Also when is the facelift model coming?

    Waiting a few more months to get 2016 model may fetch you a few more bucks than a 2015 model, at the time of sale. This is the biggest benefit. On the other hand, if you plan to keep the car for a good 5-6 years or more, then this thing may have negligible effect owing to ever increasing trend of inflation, but if you are kind of a person, who keeps on changing cars in the short-run, then waiting for 2016 model would be the best bet.

    Why would IMC even think of introducing any facelift even in near future when the current model has almost increased their profit after tax by a whopping 133% (Rs 9.1 billion in June 2015 as compared to Rs 3.9 billion in June 2014) :O?

    Wait till 2016, latest technology turbo is being introduced in 1.5 L sedan. Much more horsepower and better fuel efficiency.

    I bought the Corolla in 2007. Brand new. Sold it in 2015. So you can say we change cars after two generations. So according to you, 2015 model would be okay for me too? I heard the waiting line is short in December. It would increase dramatically as soon as 2016 starts.

    Are you talking about Corolla? Are they replacing the 1.6 with a 1.5 Turbo? How authentic is this news?

    1.5 turbo is civic in international markets. They will will never launch that in pak. It will hurt the sales of city and civic both
