Default Thinking to upgrade to 1.6 altis

I have GLI 1.3 A/T in Medium Silver color. I brought it in Oct 2014. I have driven it about 18000 km till now. I have installed Michilen 205 65 15 in it without rims.

Now i am planning to change it to 1.6 Altis.
Will it be a good decision?

I am getting maximum of 11-13km/l in city with A/C, where as in extreme traffic and tough conditions it drops to 9 km/l. Will it be same with 1.6 or it can drop?

Do 1.6 have more powerful engine as compare to 1.3 A/T?

The extra features and "Altis" name is worth of paying 125000 extra. Plus extra tax and registration charges because of 1598 cc engine.

Plus i am very much interested in getting SUPER WHITE color, which is not available in Gli.

Should i go for it or stick to 1.3 A/T?

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance!

If you have cash to spare and intend to keep the car for log time yah its a good decision. ...why not go for non grande 1.8 auto. And 1.8 is the most fuel efficient of the bunch and more powerful.

Go threw the toyota corolla fanclub and u will get most of your answers.

I dont have much cash to spare. I was just thinking to change to new 1.3 A/T. Its going to cost around 50 k after selling existing one but than i thought of buying 1.6. Its a bit confusing situation. I thought to take some inputs.

Mostly i buy cars for long term. At least 5 years.

Grande is not in my list as you always loose heavy amount when u sell top of the line models. I recently sold my se saloon A/T 2004 after driving 175000 in 715k where as if it would be gli, I would have gotten around 8-9 lakh.

May be I sound little awkward.
