Estimate price tag should be around 775k to 850k.

I owned an auto SE Saloon upto the beginning of last year. Overall I found it to be a comfortable sedan with a fair bit of shashkas

But there are few issues which I noted:

    - mileage is a let down
    - the 1.6l engine does not pack enough punch
    - road grip is bad
    - resale value is quite low

Thanks for the response brother. You owned a MT or Auto ?
Yeah I know that road grip and brakes are bad but I can live with it.
Any specific reason for the low resale?

    I owned an auto.

One main reason for poor resale that i learned was poor mileage... And also the general mindset that "baahir se tou same shape hi haina" (referring to xli and gli)

Ohh thats the reason you were not satisfied with the power. I drove my friend's Saloon, MT on CNG and the acceleration was quite good. Mileage he was getting on full cylinder is 100 with AC. Thats really good for a 1600cc car.
But there is not any difference in prices of SE Saloon & Xli/Gli. Infact I am getting some Xlis cheaper than SE Saloons.

SE Saloon lainay ka ak faeda yeh hay kay you are sure that this car has never been driven under RENT A CAR business. While for XLI/GLI mostly they are RENT A CAR ruined pieces!!!

If radiator fan is Auto, Engine timing chain and dubboos are tunned and Engine is not reducing oil, then it would give very good mileage specially on long routes. On long routes it would give mileage better than xli/gli.

You are absolutely right. SE Saloon is far better than under powered Xli/Gli.

Yes it came with 14" FF alloys. People usually swap them with 15s for better grip and handling.

Thats quite a list of money breakers buddy! Id estimate the price at around 700k to 750k.

But i would also not opt for a car that needs so much work.

If you can get it under 700k then it's not a bad deal
First get estimates regarding the repairs

The seller is not willing to give it below 700k. I gave him the offer of 660k.

Have another sit down with the seller. A bit of cash in hand and a cheque book is always persuasive. You should be walking away with the car for 675k to 685k

Also do confirm the estimates for the rest of the work too (money and time).
