    Default 2c Radiator

    Hey folks,
Some months ago i got my 2d's engine overhauled after that mechanic putted guard's coolant in the radiator saying ye sb se acha hai, I had no knowledge of good coolants but now when i came to know about coolants that guard's coolant is cheapest one so now i wanna change it to some good brand like zic etc so tell me the procedure need to be done, should i simply drain the old coolant/water and put new one in or something else need to be done thanks. Also suggest some good coolant which would be premixed.

If it was cleaned very properly then it'll have very minor or no rust. Just check it and proceed accordingly.

Zulfiqar bhai recommends caltex long life coolant as a second option. I'll be getting the same. It costs 650-750/liter.

2C engine coolant capacity is 5.9L
Toyota recommends their Super Long Life Coolant. It comes in 4L packing and price is ~2800/4L

Other option is ZIC Super A. Its pre-mixed. Price is Rs. 525/L and comes in 1L packing.

Don't really know about this date thing. But m assuming that I shouldn't be of much tension as coolant has long service time... Take some expert opinion.

Yeah that's the issue. Caltex 3L concentrate would have been cheaper.
