    Default Corolla doesn't start on first self

    Solution
    My corolla does not start on first self, hot or cold does not matter. Once started, if I shut it off and start again right away, it starts on first self. If I shut off and then try to start after some time like 30 minutes, it takes 2-3 selfs. Can any body guess what could be wrong??? No mechanic or electrician could diagnose it yet!!! Done tuning many times, no effect. Self is fine, takes very strong self when I give it a turn!!!

    @zee_dad_khan
    I am driving 2K3 Corolla provided by my Company from last week, It also had similar issue.I took it to Mechanic for Tune-up,He detected 2 dead cylinders out of 4 so I bought 2 used cylinders in Rs. 2,500/=,
    Than he also changed spark plugs, They were the Original ones from last 13+ years so I replaced them with 4 Tip-Bosch Spark Plugs and now this problem gets solved

    The fuel filter (not the assembly) will cost you around 1500, and it's (jaali) will cost you 200,300rs.only.
    Toyota changes complete fuel pump assembly at 60,000kms which doesn't need any changing, but they still do it. My 2010 gli is 220,000km driven at this moment on genuine fuel pump assembly. Just change both things at 50,000km and its good to go.

    Also, for the spark plugs and to stop the knocking from the engine. Try to get denso IK20 iridium sparplugs from devil_striker here on pakwheels.
    I tried them and they worked really good for me.

    Damn, they are loteraas.

    Btw, why don't they introduce ceramic brake pads in Pakistan?
    I have drilled and slotted with ceramic brake pads in my gli at front. I got them from USA. They have done 60,000km till now and still they will easily run for another 60,000. Braking is much better than OEM ones, but Toyota will never introduce them coz nobody will go to their dealership to have the pads changed at every 40,000km. Gonna install k&n filter in my cvt now coz I am not gonna pay them rs.3000 at every 10,000km. Paisay kamaanay ka tareeka hai bus yeh toyota ki service shop.

    Not very expensive, I bought it from an ordinary shop near my home. It costed me 750Rs. It might have costed less if I had purchased it from Palaza, Karachi!!!

    It is just an ordinary part like Oil filter, so not very expensive!!!
