Default What is a better buy: 1.6 Altis auto or 1.3 Gli auto?

I am planning to buy new corolla for my father in auto transmission. My father preference is white colour.I am a little confused about the variants. Should I go for a 1.6 Altis auto or 1.3 Gli auto? Your suggestions in this regard will highly be appreciated.

Go for a 1.6 Altis auto.
If you have 2 more lacs in your pocket than go for altis 1.8 auto. Bigger engine+ cvt gearbox. Great power and fuel consumption like 1.3.

I would suggest to Go for Aqua instead of Cowrolla !!! Plus you will have a shining Pearl White color in would be better !!

1.6 all the way, 1.3 auto isn't a good idea since the body is too heavy. Plus the 1.6 is selling like hot cakes, almost like, dare i say, 1.3 manual gli

Go for Altis 1.6 Auto, and you will enjoy the power.
I did the same and bought the Altis Auto in Super White.

Well the auto transmission in the 1.6 variant is new and improved compared to the 1.3. That coupled with more power makes 1.6 a viable choice, if budget is not an issue.

If buying for a year or two, go for 1.3 Auto. In city drive 1.3 is more than enough. power difference in 1.3 and 1.6 is marginal. If want to enjoy some ride than switch to 1.8 version.

As per my experience, specially on long routes and for two way road, where you require sudden surge of power to overtake, both engines 1.3 and 1.6 with auto trans. are dull. 1.8 engine suites such situation well.

For rest of the scenarios including city and one way highway and motorway drive 1.3 is approx. equal to 1.6.

When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.

    Altis 1.6 ?? or talking abt 1.8. . .

I think CVT has a big role. .
1.5 cvt engine drives so smooth n picks pace quickly . . .
