It will only make you feel better while having ZERO actual difference in performance, if you're talking about the one which is used as a replacement of the OEM filter with K&N in the same housing.
However if you are talking about a complete K&N air intake with a cone filter, that will give you a very slight difference in performance.
I suggest that you don't mess with the original setup, it is optimized by the factory already. Any other filter will give you throttle body problems in the long run.
