    Default Corolla 2009 A/C problem

    AOA to all PW's members, as im facing problem with my Corolla XLi 2009. A/C starts very well but after several time peroid about 25-30min of long drive (i.e;20km) the a/c get tripped and cooling goes to ZERO for a while....now y there is delay in cooling?? Whoz the culprit...???

    Check if car is overheating. It usually happens when car temperatue rises above normal.

    The 10th gen ac compressor is prone to fail like this. Still get it to checked from a reputed shop or a toyota dealer to get estimates
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    Got it checked From Capital Car A/C: he's Asking 15k to fix it as there is sensor which turns the compressor On/off that one is faulty....so he said sensor will be removed and the system will be manually works... :3 what do u suggest should i go for this jugaar?

    Bro,
    I have 2010 gli. It has the same problem.
    Jitni dair chalta hai chalao uskay baad kaabli dalwao ya sanden company. There is no way to fix it up.

    I have bought one from Bilal ganj for 12000rs

    Same issue here and its not the compressor. Most probably the thermostat

    Yep got it fix today, total cost 13,000PKR new compressor and condensor,,problem Solved

    Facing similar issue in probox. It trips but if you turn off the ac and then switch it on again it works immediately and after 20 mins again trips and vice versa.

    Same issue with my car punjab car ac suggested me to get my compressor changed as well as condenser changed the sensor is faulty

    Sir i am thinking to go as per he said acctually i took suggestions from 8-9 shops amd they said to replace both i never replaced it till now inshahAllah i will go tomorrow to get it fixed

    My corolla 2010 has exactly the same problem.Got it checked from murshid car A.C G-10.He said its a common problem in this generation of compressor.I am still using it the way it is.
    SpeeD Widout Control Iz Nothin...
