My vote goes to stock 15" rims (steel wheels) and good tyres (Yoko/Continental/Michelin) not exceeding 205. Im on my 3rd 1.3 corolla using this combo and it works perfectly (fuel economy, good handling and suspension life).

Sir I respect your opinion but do u know that the tyre size which u mentioned is almost 4% larger than stock.
It is very bad for the suspension too wide & heavy.
    Please don't mind

    205/65 r15 is good
If prefer 16" then go for 205/55 r16 but profile is low & diameter is same as stock
    Else 205/60 r16

205/55/R16. Don't go for a fatter tire on your original 15" wheel.

As it's original size is 15 inch then best profile will be 205/55R16 but if you want 15 inch then 195/65R15 or 205/65R15.

Did I or didn't I say go for Lenso?

Lenso makes light weight alloys and light weight rims doesn't affect suspension.

As far tyre size is concerned, it's the same tyre size that comes as an OEM for this model for other countries except Pakistan

Light or heavy weight rims doesn't affect the suspension it's tyres profile which affects....the more you decrease the profile more it affects the suspension.

He never said anything about sticking to the original size, hence I proposed opting for a 16" inch wheel. Yes, we all know you can't put a 16" tire on a stock 15" wheel.

The latter half of my post was a response to someone saying 205/65/R15.
