International models of Corolla come in 205/55/R16, and by this logic the suspensions design of PKDM Corolla is different?

Also, next year INDUS might be offering 16" wheels in the facelift version, which would have the current design. How come size change will be okay then?

I think go for continental cc5 in stock size of your car. You will enjoy continental tyres, better than michellin and yokos.

If u compare the sidewall of XM2 and Yoko DB. XM2 sidewall is way more softer. The bump u had doesnt mean the tyre is soft it mean that u had low tyre pressure at that time which resulted in more curved sidewall which got hit when u bumped into some pothole which damaged ur rim as well as sidewall of tyre, and u got the swollen spot.
Always keep incheck ur tyre pressure in the future.
