    Default Corolla XLI 2007 Clock and Music Player not working

    Dear Mates,

    Asalaam-u-Alaikum,

    I own a Toyota Corolla 2007 model, till yesterday everything was find when after returning from office when i turned on the ignition noticed that all the gauges went up and then down again and the car started and ran well, but noticed that the clock and music system has stopped working and every-time i turn on the ignition gauges move up and then come down, car starts and runs smoothly, only clock and music system is not working, even cigarette lighter is working....

    Experts plz help any loose connection or fuse issue

    Go to a good electrician. Feels like a earth or fuse issue to me

    @haseeb.basharat Mate if you guide me I would be able to do it myself, as before this car I had Baleno, I used to do the stuff myself...It will help all the ways plz...

    Better not to play with these things.
    There can be several possibilities.
    A short wire, earth issue or a fuse.
    I think that fuse box is under the dashboard for 2007 model, you can check for burnt fuse, but I would still recommened that you visit a good electrician.

    Seems like a simple fuse burnt.
    Fuse named "ACC" means Accessory(clock, cd player etc.)

    as i dont own a corolla, so cannot guide you where the fuse box is located. you have to find it yourself, most probaly behind the dashboard glove compartment , or under the steering area.

    Once you found the Fuse Box, check all the fuses , specifically "ACC" fuse and replace it if it is burnt. Most probably your problem will be solved.

    @haseeb.basharat & @us000 Thanks mates,

    Took the car to electrician in saddar, Karachi, he first checked with ODB then checked all the fuses manually, replaced on and all done, he charged only 200 was a very good guy named Abid bhai...

    Thats Good, You should do all this youself, as you may need to check simple things like fuses etc any time (where electrician might not be available), it is also recommended to place some spare fuses in the car (they are very small so do not take space and weight)

    had a same problem with my 2007 XLI change the fuse and good to go..
