Default Transforming Altis 1.6 into Grande's interior

    Hi All!

I recieved my new Altis 1.6 (automatic) from my office last week. As soon as I started using it, I decided to upgrade a few very necessary things (some I've already changed and some I'd love your opinions on it:

    Outside:

    1. Tyres and Rims. I now have 17in alloys with 215 55 R17s.
    2. Back (Tail) Lights. Went for the Audi/BMW styled ones.
    3. Side mirrors. Went for retractable to be able to park in narrow spaces.
    4. Head lamps are too weak for me. Any suggestions?

    Inside:
    5. The stereo sound isn't good. I've decided to keep the Entertainment system but upgrade the speakers with amp and preamp.
    6. I decided to go for the customised leather seats (covers?).

AND HERE's the MOST important issue I face:
    7. The Seating position is awkward. I need the adjustment that comes with higher-tier cars like Grande, Prius etc. So I have decided to buy the driver's seat of Grande from Indus Motors (as it is not available anywhere else). Any help in this point will be highly appreciated.

Congratulations on getting your new car.

I can give you some advice, hope it will be of some help.

As far as your stereo is concerned, changing speakers and adding an amp plus woofer will definitely make a difference. But the real deal is the dvd player itself. Go for a branded dvd and your sound issues will be greatly resolved.

I would not suggest that you change the seat. Your car's original seats are quite comfortable. Try adjusting it in a way that you can compromise with.

I don't recommend changing the seat because one it would be too costly from indus.

Second, Grande seat would be leather while your other seats are fabric. It will look odd unless you get it redone in fabric. Then that fabric won't match with the other seats.

You can look for Australian model seats (the entire set) from the scrap market. I know one set is available in pindi. But that is black interior. Plus then again it's very very expensive.

The car's headlamps are okay. If you want more power go for LED bulbs on low beam. They are available easily these days, and will surely improve visibility.

Great. Please post some pictures of upgrades already done.

Changing seats aren't recommended, will be mismatch of leather vs fabric. then added cost of getting the rest done in the same material.
