Default Engine Missing In Cold Start and Hesitate while Acceleration

    AoA,
What could be the reason for the engine to jerk/missing for a few seconds while cold start in the morning and after the engine heats up it becomes all good. Moreover while driving if you step on the accelerator the car hesitates in acceleration.
    Any related diagnose or solution?
    Its a 2015 Corolla 1.8 Altis Manual.

The car has been tuned just 4,000KM before and it is driven only on petrol. No CNG installed.

No, there is no white smoke while jerking or in the morning after a cold start.
Its just a 50,000KM driven car, can it still return a problem in the tapets? I haven't ever pushed the engine too much, never drove above 3000RPM and all Toyota maintained there is no odd sound in the engine.

get your spark plugs and coils checked. do u get your engine cleaned with pressure water on pump while getting washed/serviced?

i think one or more of your coils is shot because of water, or similar issue may be with plugs.

once fixed, get good quality fuel and reset your ecu by disconnecting negative terminal of your battery for 5 minutes. car will take 24-48 hours to re calibrate all its settings and will be fine.

Spark Plugs already changed. Coils checked and are in perfect condition. Still the problem persists. Engine is not running smooth and hesitates while accelerating and also during gear shifts, the car gives minor jerks which tends to a rugged shifting.
What other parts could be checked for this? Any ideas?
I consulted Toyota for this and wanted my fuel injectors to be checked for clogging or defect and they are hesitant.

Dont you have the scanner? Get a good OBD II scanner and diagnose the faults yourself.
Hit & Try method in these new cars are not recommended.
Get a simple 3000Rs OBDII Bluetooth or wifi scanner and connect it with your smartphone and diagnose the issues yourself.

Thanks for the suggestion. Could you please tell me where can I buy this scanner?
P.S: Toyota dealership has already checked the systems etc with a scanner and couldn't find anything wrong with any of the sensors.

Exactly the same problem with my local duties car, Chevrolet 800CC.

Same problem every morning. Even during day time, if car parked for more than 2 hours.

Same hesitation during acceleration also... Even more in the eve, when I turn on lights...

My spark plugs are fine. Tuning is done. Car only driven on Petrol.

Tapets also were adjusted few months back... Still problem persists...

I now have serious suspicion about the status of the injectors....

recheck plugs and coil. i faced similar issue twice in my other ride and once the plug was broken while tightening it up after inspection. and the other time coils seemed fine however detailed inspection revealed that one of them was shot.

    Also reset your ecu.

car is automatic? doesnt seem to be gear box related issue.

There is no problem with your plugs & coil, if there is a problem with your coil it will give jerks & missing all the time, here you are saying it only does this in morning start, this is due to tappets! This is inherit problem with altis! ALso which engine oil are you using?

Im using Toyota Petron Plus 10-30. Im really much disappointed with Altis. There are alot of other issues above this but this is something that is what I face every morning and grab my attention and while driving, i dont get the required power out of it. I mean jerks and hesitation while changing every gear. This is rediculous. Just yeterday Toyota checked everything and says it all fine. I don't know what to do.

I checked my injectors yesterday and they were perfectly fine. Toyota pronounced every part of the car in perfect order. I suspect there is a problem with some sensor which is not reflecting in scanner. Don't know what to do.

after reading all of your comments. the problem lies in 3 parts
1: Air flow Sensor it could be bad and had lot of dust on its resistor's.
b: Could be a minor Air leak between air flow sensor and Throttle Body which causes the mixture to get leaned.

    2: Improper Fuel Pressure.
    a: Bad Fuel Filter Assy.

    3:Chocked Catalytic Converter.

    Note:
All of these things can be only diagnosed through Toyota Scan Equipment. If you go for the Hunt on Trouble Codes then you will never diagnose the Problem. Go for the Live readings And Active testing's to identify the Problem.

My cultus is hesitating alottttttt now...but this occurs suddenly and momentarily and keeps on going again and again... Its like even if i press the accelerator till floor, the rpm keeps on falling and seems like the engine power is totally cut...and within 2 seconds the car is back to normal and runs perfectly fine!!! In the morning/cold start, yes it gives a good amount of smelly white smoke and then all is ok and smokeless...showed it to Enercon Scanning Karachi and he said all sensors are fine as no Check light..he said efi cultus me cng ki electronic T/lambda masla hai isko manual wali laga dete hain hopefully you will good to go...but the problem stands unresolved!

    Please give your valuable input..

Please note i have brand new plug wires and plugs...new air filter, tappets setting done...
