    Default Corolla 77

People i have this wonderful car standing in my Garage. All genuine upholstery parts engine etc. Untouched car. Only engine needs some work after some mechanic in Rawalpindi spoiled its fuel thingy making it highly un economical. I need suggestions as to how i can make this into something modern while keeping it simple and classic looking. the car has very low mileage, white color (some what faded now) rest all is genuine (even the stock totyota radio). I will try to get a few pictures of the original machine the one attached is off the net though.the car doesnt have A/C no power windows or power steering. More specs to come when go and visit my garage.

Ahhhhhh yes.......we had one too, sold it in 87 after 10 years.
Dont do nothing to it, I can recommend an excellent mechanic at Walton Road "786 Autos".
Just Add some Wide rims and if you want to make it a bit funky add a pair of Navy Blue Racing stripes down the middle.

don`t add anything to it .. just get it repainted and get its engine to work efficiently

i was thinking of adding a diesel to this baby. is that a bad idea. i guess i could just do some minor renovations. such as carpeting and a bit of upholstery. what abt a/c guys...i dont want it to look funky just original but powerful. i will try and get picturessoon so you ppl can suggest and check the beauty out. oh and its rear wheel drive great for drifts and 360s but tyres are potato need to add tyres as well i guess. what more can be done.

that is the worst thing you can do i mean to convert into diesal.
Just change its tire and rims.
Adding A/C is not bad at all.
    best of luck.

@gttx, I drive corolla 81, converted to diesel(2C). My ride was also simple and stock mean no a/c, no power steering and floor carpeting. It took me about 4 months to get it ready. And it nearly cost me around 125,000 with the following jobs:

    Conversion to diesel
    power steering
    differential changed
dash board swapped with Se model
    Installed A/C
Dent + paint, (bonnet & trunk replaced)
seats and roof upholestry all changed
and list goes on. From my point of view all the mods i have done is worth it. what is ur location khi or lhr?
