Default A/C PROBLEM TOYOTA COROLLA 2.0D SALOON

I have model 2003.Upto now Ihave topped Gas TWICE. Replaced EVAPORATOR TWICE. Replaced pressure switch once. I donot lower the window glasses.Use occasionalyy the a/c in winters for the system and rubber seals to remain in tip top condition.Do others have also complaints???
There is a space for air type of filter installation over the evaporator, which is not provided by the factory nor is available in the local market,as per the a/c electricians. Difference of opinion exists whether tee CAMRY one would act as alternate. The filter may prolong EVAPORATORS life. Can someone throw some light please.

Why did you have to replace the evaporator and pressure switch in the first place? Evaporators can last quite long.

Regarding the air filter on the evaporator, it simply prevents the evaporator from accumulation of dust. It is sort of like the air filter on an air conditioner. You can still run the AC without it but it will clog up the evaporator sooner and will require the AC to be serviced sooner. With the filter you can simply replace the filter without having to open the evaporator. Some cars do have it while others don't. But if there is a place for it, then you should probably use it.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Dear whiteangel. Tnx for an imm input.Evaporators were replaced because of leak detection. Pressure switch replaced due to its having gone unserviceable. Jobs done separately at Toyota workshop in my presence.
