japanese a/c uses rotary compressor,, where as if yr looking for better cooling,, use pistontype compressor,, its stronger in cooling but takes more power from engine.

japanese coil box is normally white in color and pakistan assembled uses black color coilbox.

i am using pistontype a/c as engine doesnt have problems with it even going uphill and jdm (japanesecoilbox with new vaporator and twin switchcontrol and temp adjust. so a/c can be adjusted accordingly as desired..
    car is corolla 1996.
New piston compressor cost about 9k.. coilbox cost varies where you get it from ,,etc.

i went to Boss a/c shop on waltonroad for a/c work

a/c is working super, and sorry i dont remember total cost to be exact,, deisel engine should not have problems with rotary or piston type compressors,,

pakistani corollas use rotary type with r134 freon (a/c gas).

no good place for ac in lahore
u have to go to karachi or islamabad
    better to go karachi
it will cost u around 25,000 -35,000 Rs but for sanden compressor
-Always put green coolant in your radiator
always wear seat belts ( now they r commin in pakistani suziki's).i know after wearing seat belt, pupil look u by revolving necks ( seems u come from mars) but ignore them

even from today we all pakwheelers follow habit of seat belt wearing we can change environment here in pakistan

we young pupil can educate society by weraing seta belts

i think i hav got a compressor taken off from my 1997 corolla Gl, it was taken out by mistake ..and a new one fitted where as it was working fine..some other bits are also lying with it..

if u r interested i can check my store.. i dont really know the worth of it.. should b around 8 to 9 k
Do the environment a favour, Use less airconditioning .. and please walk to the shop to get a pack of cigarretes..its only a 3 min walk..
