    Default Tuning Of Corolla 2.0 D

    My car a corolla 2.0D 2003 model is again giving off white smoke when i start up in the morning.
    Took it to mechanics and he is asking for
    rs 1500 to service nozzels and pump.
    +rs 500 if khradiya is needed.
    Car has done 111000 km

    Isnt 1500 too muchfor pump and nozzle servicing??

    Does your car have missing problem too... Specially in the morning... because as far as i have exprienced it is because of missing and secondly car hasn't done much as its a diesel engine...
    If you experience missing then certainly either in or out valve clearance is disburbed and in 2.0d its not like a petrol rather as you said KHARADIYA needs to play with the TICKI'S (Flat round steel) of in or out Valve's to get it rectified...
    Actually i have experienced the same in my 2.0d but that was 1999 model with more than 200,000 km on meter.

    I got the car fixed 1 yr back with the same problem!
    Only tightened the tapets and the white smoke was gone.c
    The toyota walton guys r asking 3000 for the process,parts excluded!!

    Dear, all you need is the servicing of your nozzles and this procedure should not cost u more than 200/- Rs.
    Visit any Diesel Laboratory and ask him to have your nossles cleaned. Dont ask him to even touch the pump.
    I had the same problem with my Nissan 2.OD

    Got the pump and noozle serviced for Rs 1500/-
    The white smoke is gone but the guy says i may need to get head changed in a few months!! It will cost around 15,000/-
    I change oilf filter and oil every 2500 km and air fitter every 5000 km, even then the car needs such a workup only after 1,11,000km.I always use either zic or toyota motor oil!!!

    is it overheating??? head problems result in overheating and head cracks due to overheating

    if it doesnt overheat.. dont worry it will run strong.. also check if radiator makes too much pressure on say a 1 min start

    No overheating or any other problems.Car runs smoothly only problem was the white smoke.Otherwise perfectly running.
    By the way how do i check radiator pressure and wat is a 1 Min start?
    Please explain.

    you have alread got the injection nozzels serviced, now go and get the valve clearance checked...normally after 100,000kms this is normally due.
    If the car does not consume oil, the fault does not lie with the cylinder-head

    its a check for compression leak into the cooling circuit:

    start the cold engine
    let it run for 2 min
    open radiator cap... it should not be pressurized.. like a hizz sound

    in worst cases.. the car starts pushing water out of radiator.

    ur car is perfectly fine... do check value clearance
    75% of earth is covered by water... the rest by Jeep
