    Default Altis cng problems

    Hi every 1.
    yar i have installed cng in Altis n after driving it on cng 40 thud on cng the engine has started missing and it does missing even on patrol.i m imformed by machanics dat ur car"s head vavle r not working properly and it happens with every VVTI engine car.PLz i wna know the solution coz in my opinion after fixing dis problem my car wont work properly i need ur advise?

    @Alipeers
    hmmmmm ??? weird !! ......i have installed cng both in my Vitz and Altis....with accumalators and advancers and all that ****......but mines working PERFECTLY fine !! .....
    Your mechanics are not probably educated enough to handle VVtis.....because this thing happened with my vitz once....i went t install mufler and that fool cut of my downpipe switch !! As a result the car would should check light and on signals it would turn off !!

    Later i found a gud mechanic and got it fixed.....Try findin sum educated and well known mechanic in Lahore.....thats the solution !

    @Alipeers

    check few things first before going for something big with ur engine or anything,

    * check plugs are ok , i assume its all due to plugs, proper gaps, etc

    * check current is proper to kit and coils.

    * check adv and emu are working properly. ( in case of cng only )

    * check & service cng kit + cylinder. (for cng)

    * check injectors are cleaned ( for petrol only )

    how much mileage are you guys getting.. my freak altis gives me dead 100kms. Thats all. got it checked also nothings wrong. its a 55kg cylinder

    thx bro for replying.
    yar i have changed plugs as well as cleaned trottle body and went 2 very specialist cng and patrol machanics.i even went 2 company workshop yar this problem arrives after 35 to 50 thusd k millage on cng and sometimes even before.a very honest machanic told me dat Altis is not ment for cng and ur engine(taapeit) adjustment is not availble in these latest engines especialy VVti engines so when the car runs like dat its vavle seal demages n then it start missing so u must remove cng which i did immidialtly.ya u rite it gives 100 to 115 kil depends upon the drive.now on patrol missing is lot less and he said we can remove the head of the engine and repair thre valvles but (WO BAAT NAHI BANAY GI JO GENIUNE KI HOTI HAY CHAHAY AAP COMPANY WORKSHOP say hi kun na repair karwa len).The cng people still telling me (Sahb koi baat nahi head repair karva lo kuch nahi hota) but i removed cng from my car and honestly telling u 2 remove it from vitz and Altis otherwise u will also face these problems sooner or later.

    Well ali if u had done every thing which stonedsaint suggested; one of my friends had this problem he couldn't resolve it but later he just had to get the coil changed and the car went fine....i think its quite expensive to keep an altis on petrol

    thanks man... now i feel much better none the less i still hate the car.... i kept my car for full 2 years on petrol used to get a fill up in Rs. 3000. +/- 2 or 3 hundred.

    and the some smarty pants gave my father this idea and he went with it and ive started to hate the car more ever since

    yeah u rite u cant drive on patrol but u i drove my car 40 thosd k on cng and now if i have 2 spend 40 thu rupees on head vavle repair then where do i stand?thee company workshop demanded 45 thud repees

    The only problem in your kit is the inlet of the CNG into the
    mixing system. On old carborated sytems they use special ventury with many holes in it like the stove top in your home.
    but i dont know how can they solve it in VVTI. but the problem i m sure is the inlet and mixing.
