    Default Xli CNG average

    Hi I have been getting 170, 180, 195 and tonight I got more than 200 kms on 56 Kg cylinder on 2005 Xli during all city driving and 95 percent ac.

    The red light came at 180 or so and at 200 kms there was some gas for more kms. I went for filling as there were no que at I-8 Markaz Shell pump around 11.35pm. Filled full tanks for 320 rs, gas filled 8.23kg.

    The car had been running on petrol till March 20, 2008.

    Maintained at 3S Toyota dealers, but I never allowed them to fiddle with cars tuning. The car is on same tuning on which it came from the factory.

    Only this time I used Shell semi-synthetic oil, otherwise it was all TMO 2000.

    The ODO shows 32000 Kms now.

    @abdullah1. It is in I-10/3 in front of Suzuki showroom there is a CNG pump and workshop, the best place, all original equipment and neat fitting.

    @autophile
    Did you get lambda installed in your ride. Very good average for an xli. I struggle getting over 170km with ac (55wl cylinder) on my khyber.

    @Alcapone. Have not test Murree yet, but goes well all the way up to Pir Sohawa, protectively switched off the AC uphill, but during city driving no load felt with AC. Pick is good, but no as potent as petrol off course, but no feeling of great loss of power.

    I am not a fast driver, but it goes easily at 100, I drive max at 80-85kms/hour.

    Can i ask why you chose not to get lambda??? The reason i ask is that installers in lahore are generally against lambda closed loop systems. On the contrary, what i gather from pakwheels is that in islamabad lambda fitting is a norm and encouraged by installers.

    @Alcapone
    @Stonedsaint

    Kit is original Landi Renzo, Stap 100/2 or so I think orginal Italian Landi advancer and emulator. They told me that it is rarely available in the market now costs 4 to 5 thousands rupees. Cylinder is OGRA approved Kioshi from Argintina I guess. It cost me 41 thousand ruppees.

    Other workshops in Islamabad were quoting 37K rs for Landi Renzo with EKC cylinder.

    This workshop also quoted 37K but withoug STAP and with two-in-one Digi advance and emulator. But I opted for the 41K package and very satisfied with its performance.

    Have not gone back to workshop for any adjustment, tunning or snag since March when it was first installed.
