i am using Dunlop LM 701 and quite happy with them.. good comfort and handling for citydrive

rim size change is only effective when engine power is changed accordingly.

Ofcourse, Rim size change is always a compromise on performance but I would like to give up some performance for 16's. Has anyone used 16's in corolla to give me some feedback please?

    Khattak saab,
tell u something, my uncle bought a corlla. got 15's...still it looked like a rickshaw with small wheels.got 16's, now looked like a vespa. finally went for 17's and the car looked superb but ...
mileage was 10,000 km's and suspension started making sounds besides that speedo meter reading is also wrong with bigger wheels
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

@hash, I am already using 205/17/45 on my 03 EXI and they are a pain. My new Gli is going to be an everyday use car so I cant have another nightmare with 17s. I was wondering if 16s are a tradeoff between looks+drive.

@nasir, got it through toyota ravi, booked in may delivered in end of June. They arent booking any more and the premium on the old one has apparently gone up with speculation of higher price of the new model.
