    Default ]]]]CNG in Corolla AUTOmatic<<<<

    Hi Members,
I have a Corolla Saloon 2003 model and its Automatic.
It have done 74000 Km and is purely driven on Petrol with best maintanance on time with no problem in Engine. Now Petrol have Touched 86 so thinking of installing CNG on it as I can no more bear the high bills of Petrol.
So I need an advice that is CNG suitable on Corolla automatic transmission. If yes how much it will cost with 60Kg Cylinder in Karachi & I have heard of many advancers on CNG so which one will be best on Automatic car.
Urgent Help Required, Thanx in Advance.

faber cylinders are a bit expensive but good.
Use LandiRenzo Kit+LandiRenzo Advancer + LandiRenzo Emulator.
My cousin's Saloon is working fine on cng, the setting is the main thing.

yes suitable. but what i have experienced on se saloon that it keeps on going to 4k rpm and have to release the pedal a bit to get its gear changed to the upper one.. u ll get used to it or may be ures dont do this kind of thing.

What my civic auto did on cng is that it shifts to upper gears when driving with light pedal on like 2k rpm so resulting in a power loss.

But u ll get used to it . A petrol user always gets annoyed in the start on an auto tranny but then its a matter of saving or u can get the sis (sequential) kit and u wont have any kind of problem as it picks up info from the ecu.. these kits are pre installed in Liana.

Thanx Everybody to give supportive comments & Help.
Just came from the market & touching Jail Road CNG fitters & Freinds CNG Balouch Colony, estimate is Quoted to abt 44K including Tomistao Kit with advancers and 55 Kg Cylinder & abt 42K with Landiranzo Kit.
I am opting for normal 55Kg cylinder argintina one not for 60 or Faber one as it is expensive and there is very minor diffrence in capacity.
So pleasee suggest me that should I go for LANDIRANZO OR TOMISATO.
    Thanx

Also check the prices of Lambda, it enhances the performance of auto cars on CNG.

I have had my 2004 Se Saloon A/T on CNG for almost 2 years.

Its a Landi Renzo kit and has never caused me any problems. Difference from petrol is roughly 10-15% and A/T does not seem affected by it.

Thanks to Everyone for helping me so much.
So atlast I got my car converted to CNG and the difference which I am feeling is bit less pick which is not more than 20% power loss which I think is reasanoble with that much money saving on fuel. Got a EKC 60 Kg cylinder with LANDIRANZO Kit italian one with Advancers & Emulators. The total package with brakets specially desighned for Corolla as there would be no holes in diggi and cylinder racks is fitted on Shocker bolts costed me arnd 45K which I think is reasonable and with 55 Kg cylinder the dealer was asking final 42K. Opted for 60 Kg because my Corolla is 1.6 & Automatic so it will consume more fuel and Corolla Diggi is so big that after installation huge space is available. First Cylinder with full CNG of Rs. 400 gave me avrg of 105Km in City with A/C as my route is little long.
    So I think its economical.
please give your veiws on it.
    Regards
    Adnan
