    things to check at delivery...
    - Car paint, check for dents, difference in paint surface (rub your hand across)
    - Car interior must have all the accessories of Gli
    - All lights, indicators, lamps be working as well as wipers
    - Start the engine and check for engine sound
    - Open the hood and check for levels of different fuels, check for any rework, paint job, repairs
    - Open trunk, check for toolkit, spare tyre and check for any dents etc
    - Check the car papers for their correctness
    - Check warranty book and any other manuals (car manual, stereo manual, battery card etc)
    - Get all three keys of the car
    - While on the road check for alignment, any noises while running

Car insurance is mandatory, go for comprehensive insurance, EFU is good, AdamJee and rest are ok

Black color is the sexiest but it requires a LOT of maintainance, I have black Xli so I know it very well... All dark colors show dust real bad so go for light colors... Go for silver if you like it... its your choice buddy

Depends on car papers, if factory completion date is 2005, it will be treated as 2005 otherwise 2006.

Thanks "khashraf", for your detailed responce, I noted all of thing that need to be checked. Thanks Man.

Thanks "hunchback5" and "levin" for colour advice.

I boocked in "Rose Metalic" but wants to change it to "Flaxen Mica", but not sure is GLi comes in that colour.

Hi the dealerships have a pre-delivery checklist. The salesperson will read all these things and show you and tick them and later get your signatures if all things were new and working.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

and if u r not satisfied with anything on the checklist e.g gaps within panels and interior fittings etc. the answer u will get is "Yehi piece hai, chahiye to theek hai warna u have to wait for another 7 8 months"

This is based on my own personal Toyota expereince, then u apply pressure (Sifarish) and then they hand over the car to service department for any possible adjustments, expect 10% increase after sevice people are done. Finaly u have to accept the car as it is, even if it is not acceptable to you.

In Pakistan, especialy monopolies like Toyota/Suzuki, Customer is definately not the king, rather a slave who gets whatever is offered even after paying hefty amounts and waiting for unjustified period of times.
Keep a cool head and wear seatbelts!
