    Default Some info about cultus..

I'm thinking of buying a new cultus Vxli..

    Just had a few questions..

How much horsepower does it generate?

I travel on the highway frequently, so is it able to maintain a 100-120km/h against/with wind on slopes or straight roads?

How is it on CNG and Petrol performance wise? Any issues? and how is the average?

I have a vitz currently but its in bad shape and gives trouble every few days, previous owner pulled a fast one on me

How is the suspension, and how is the air conditioning?

and any general/known issues with the car?

U need to maintain ur car at ur best...

And who said the Filter costs 850??? it's 280-350Rs...

I own 2001 Cultus (read 2001) and i can easily touch 120-140 without AC and 110-125 with AC....

I go on motorway every weekend...

There are only build problems like the (door adjustments)... it's AC is also quite good...

Dont listen to ppl who haven't ever drived cultus... go4it, it's a good family car...

    Dear All,

I have 2003 Model Cultus VXL (Power) with CNG, you ppl can see it under my name in members rides.. And I used to go to Murree every weekend.. It didnt give me any problem. Its realy a very good and nice car. Its drive is nice as well. Currently I am in Dubai and driving a BMW 325i and I can still say that cultus is not a bad car, it nice in SHAPE, Comfortable, economical ..

If you compare it with Santro, may be engine of Santro has some plus points but comfort wise cultus is best in this class. It has a very very good leg room both in front and rear seats, do compare with corolla even cultus has a larger leg room on back.

On petrol its very very nice. you can drive on Highway/ Motorway etc..

    I rocommend Cultus in 1000cc...

Another plus point is good resale than santro..
    Best of Luck...

@ Daghalodi If you have coure then dont say its better than cultus ..
I know coure is far better than mehran but cultus is cultus..
2 of my cousins have coure and i know its comfert..

Vits is a nice car in 1000cc .. I can recomment VItz but its maintenance is a bit more than cultus and if you have problem in its EFI system then it will drink petrol.. and VItz performance is not good on CNG.

but comfort wise Vitz can beat Cultus..

thank u for all ur replies.

For all those who suggest Vitz, i already have one

i had my heart set on the new vitz, cuz honestly, its a LOT better.. Features and stuff..

BUT vitz mainatainance is expensive and that's my personal experience. and i prefer manual trannies..

My vitz is on CNG. on highway, i have trouble keeping it at 100km/h against wind and slope. without these, i have even done 160km/h on the thing. can post pics if u want, friend took em

I've heard lots of good things about the cultus engine. so no trouble there.

I'm asking about any known issues.. i love the vitz A/c and its comparable to my rolla's.. is the Efi ka A/c that good? i plan to run it on CNG and i'm gonna keep it for 2 years max, maybe less.

My main concern: i've heard suspension is crap and car starts making rattles and stuff real quick.
    i dont like that, i'm a perfectionist

and hey all, how about this:

^ Cultus A/C is good no problem.. you can compare it with Vitz.. even on CNG it is good.. my personal Experiance.. have a look on my Cultus

I agree Vitz has a lot more features like ABS and Air Bags etc. and it has a bit more comfort than cultus.. If you run VItz on Petrol and can afford expensive parts (maintenance) then obviously go for Vitz..

Yes if you ride any car on bumpy & underconstruction roads, then u have to do suspension work in 5 month time .. if you have to drive on bumpy roads and want to do off roading then better go for a 4x4 not a car..

My cultus is now 80,000Kms done and its having orignal suspension.. and everything..

bas zara banday kay putroon ki terha chalani perti hay car..
