Default Cultus VXLi bubbling when breakes apply

    Salam All,
I am facing a strange issue in my car. I have Cultus VXLi cng 2008. The problem is this that whenever i apply breakes after crossoing the speed of 60 km/h the car starts to vibrate especially the steering wheel. It goes to the speed of 120-140 km/h easily without any vibration but as soon as i apply brakes after 60 km/h it starts vibrating till it comes down to speed of 60 km/h. 6 mechanics had gone through this but no one solved thi issue. On advice of mechanics both front wheels "TAWA" has been changed. After changing them both "TAWA" got tool in them but the issue is still their.Brake has been serviced but results are same.Allignment and wheel balancing done but koi farq nahi.
Kindly advice me that what will be the issue or to whom i should contact now.

Same problem was faced by me on my vitz,
Replace front disk pads with the genuine one, i repeat with genuine one. Will cost you around PKR 2200 and will last for 40,000 kms.

And the recomended place to get them is Niazi Autos Montgomery road.
I have been buying stuff from them from years now and till date the most honest and reliable suzuki spare parts dealers i have come accross.

    Hope the above helps.

U seem to have tried everything that you should have done and even things that you should not have done, I'm assuming u have checked your tire air pressure etc, the only thing left is remove your front tires and have them balanced, when they're spinning on the balancing machine check for abnormal bumps and jumps, this will signal if the rims are bent or misshaped or if the tire has a swollen side wall or something , I would also suggest you stop going to the mechanics who had u change the tawa and have them re-tooled, re-tooling is not a smart decision, do the wheels make a whirring sound like the bearings are worn or something although this shouldnt happen in a 2008 vehicle, did u buy the vehicle new or did u purchase it recently as a used vehicle?

@Naxun, I went to mini motors last saturday but they said that this is an issue with the front hubs we need to replace them but currently we dont have them in stock.
@farazarif, yes tire pressure is fine and i had already done the wheel balancing and i bought the car new.
One thing i would like to mention that whenever car goes on to some bumpy roads i feel a sound of grrrr grrrr from front side which might be steering issue but mini motors told me that this sound is normal in power steering cars.2nd thing is this that after coming from mechanic the car runs perfect without any vibration but this stays only two days after that same issue.I think this is because that after reassambling of both of its tyres with tight nuts as car runs these nuts loose their grips from hubs and car starts vibrating on brakes.

resurface the rotors and new brake pads.
Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

@killer Vtec, u noe wat, Vitzes Genuine brake pads are actualy cheaper then Alto's nd Baleno's. ( em tawking about the ones which come as factory fitted.) Alto (2800) Baleno (4500) they lasted 75,000kms. So Cultuses parts would also be priced something lyk this.

@poster. The vibration can be cause of un-even rotars surface to.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

so the votes go for brake pads not hubs. I am going to Sethi Motors today and lets see what they recommend.

Finally issue got resolved by Sethi Motors Kalma Chowk. They first told me that front tawaas needs tooling but when i told them that i already done that then they disassamble the rear drums and send it to "Kharadiya" for tooling. After tooling issue got resolved and till now brake is fine.
