if your recently overhauled the engine then you should allow the engine to settle and "run-in" before trying to go at top speed in it. also 110 is prety fast for that car considering it is not built to even go that fast.

however if you want to go faster,.. first fit upgraded brakes and then either fit a turbo (with intercooler etc) or swap the engine.

yup! as all the respected members explained it,u will have to give a lil tym to ur new built motor to let the parts make up their places, before that boosting up is not recommended neither it would boost,110 is more then enough for a newly assembled motor.

Running in for over 5,000 km is just ridiculous and untrue, even 2,000 km's is a little overboard. A few heat cycles on different rpm ranges (starting from 3K to 6K to 9K and then full throttle at full load) imho is all that is required to put the parts in even wear and tear condition with the rest of the engine to start performing to their true potential.

I know many of you would want to disagree but it indeed is technically and realistically true, a process I personally follow on all the engines I've built to date with pretty extra ordinary results thus far, something that is never the case with engines that are run in for over 2,000 km's.

Do yourself a favour and please don't do useless stuff on it because
    A. It's a suzuki hence unreliable.
    B. Mods won't make any significant difference anyway.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. i will wait untill 5000KMs. normally in nutral position RPM goes very fast but in 4th and 5th gear they move real slow. i tried in 2nd gear at 80Km/H, 3rd 100, 4th 110 and 5th just relex or even some times RPM and speed comes back

You can turbocharge any size motor,.. doing it right requires skill and knowledge. Only people who don't know what they are doing blow motors.

I was referring to aftermarket turbos with BOV, turbo timer & intercolor :p

My 94 Khyber did 165 on 3rd gear... just to prevent any accident or mishap I didn't take it any further and the mods were:

    Simota Cold Air Intake
    ZEX Tripple Fire Spark Plugs
    Protech Racing 10mm Plug Wires
Blue Thunder 10.2mm Coil Wire with Ultra Booster
Blue Thunder 6mm Ground Wire System
Accel, Super Stack, Performance Ignition Coil
    Ground Wires
    2-1/4 High Flow Cat Back
    HKS Exhaust

on top of that, car was lowered 4 inches on custom cut springs..

@shaizy007: bro if u want to increase ur speed...than thats mean u need more power...in order to do that...

    1) change the stock wires into good aftermarket wires...
    2) change the spark plug...
    3) change ur air n oil filter n put K&N ones...
    4) use synthetic engine oil...
    5) if possible, change the distributor aswell...otherwise no need!...
    6) n lastly, install K&N air intake...

n then c if it make any difference...

n then c if it make any difference...
    1) if stock ones are ok then aftermarket ones will do nothing
    2) 4-tip, irridium, rare metal, etc don't do anythign without spark amplification
    3) real K&N filters cost more than 20000rs, and they don't have an intake kit for this engine.
    4) what will synthetic oil do?
    5) if distributor is working fine then a new one will do nothing
    6) most intakes suck hot air into them which will mean less dense air and therefore LESS power.

rather than all this he's better off just fitting a larger carb, removing the AC, decreasing the weight in his car (stereo, etc), removing all aerodynamic hinderances (air press, kit etc) and indexing his plugs (getting them to face the right direction in the chanber to maximize the use of the spark kernal)...

    once u hit 100+ don't switch to 5th gear until u hit 140.

and check if u changed the complete set of clutch, pressure and bearings...

finally just get it tuned for high speed instead of high economy..
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"
