    @newton

    Hids have been discussed earlier in great details and even the color temp range (shade ) of the Hids are their. Try searching thru forums and come to a conclusion.

    FActs abt HID

    1. LOW/HIGH HID are atleast priced at 25000 Rs (good quality).Basically their is a motorized Deflector on the bilb that changes it,s position and hence the Angles of the Light.

    2. They can be adjusted to Low or MID by Vertical and horizontal adjustments of the Heaad light REflector.

    3. They produce less heat than a Conventional bulb.

    4. The technology is same as of TUBE lights that we have in our homes.
    so Less Electricity/wattage is consumed and more efficiency is acquired.

    5. Only the igniting Voltage required to turn on the HID is more. after that it consumes 35watts only as compared to 65 watts of a normal bulb.

    Go ahead install them but the shade of the light that suits driving visibility shud be more towards White,Lightest blue rather than Purple Bling shades.
