Question New Cultus-Poor Exp As Yet

    Hi All;

I got my new suzuki cultus last october, and has been a bad exp. till now.

Very 1st thing i noticed were the two side mirrors of pepsi bottle quality.

Next was the two flips on the doors, that were attached with a double tap sticking out.

    Anyways, I drove it home.

On the way, on 80km/h and 120km/h, car does a jerk as if the electrical system has been jammed for a fraction of a second.

I took it to Suzuki FSD Motors for tune-up, and they just wasted my bloody time over there. (better not to visit there ever).

At 4000kms, i started feeling some change in the car. It wasn't responding the way it used to.

I showed it to the local mechanic, and he said, the engine is missing.

I showed it to Suzuki Motors in Lahore, they said the tappets are tight and need to be lossen up.

I got them lossen up, and it turned out perfect.

Now only a few days ago, I did tune-up again, car was running fine. Yesterday, when i went out with car running on petrol. I think petrol was almost at the end. If it was almost at the end, car should have converted to CNG. Anyways I drove out. engine starts missing. But when i converted on CNG, it does perfectly fine. Car is just 9000kms old, and is behaving as if 90000kms old.

Am confused, and I have started hating my new car. Can anyone shed a light on this.

My next car would be from Chevorlet or Nissan. I will not be buying bloody toyotas, suzukis and hondas since they are chalta phirta kabrestan with paper like bodies and non trusted braking system.

same thing happpened with my frnd..he bought cultus efi one ,09 model n it was missing from the very frst day,so he had to change ecu n all coils frm suzuki rawalpindi 6th road..car was under warranty so they changed it without cost...
i guess no suzuki is reliable, even wen they r direct out of factory...

Bought new Cultus for my younger bro and we are completely satisfied. Even i use to drive that car sometimes and it has no problem. Though the build quality is not the same as it was 5 years ago but still its not a that much bad hatch.

    May be u're bit unlucky.

dear all. after reading the comments, yes i may be unlucky with it. prob have to tie up a black cloth on the antena. haha.

i was low on budget and had to buy the car on priority basis, but my next car is 4 years away, and will buy chevorlet's 1300cc sedan that would be in the market at tht point of the time.

One brother pointed out about the plugs and the belt. I should get it changed at the earliest.

If u ll take ur car to a 3s dealr for periodic maintenance u ll never get into such problems. By periodic maintenance I mean that ur car while running fine but the kms pasted on that chit by dealr on which next check up is due and u show up in the dealrship and they then check for such potential problems.

The mindset of our ppl is that they take the car to workshop once it starts giving problems. Remember prevention is better than cure
At 30,000km the '3S' dealers would have not checked the timing belt either. They are supposed to last close to 100,000km ... atleast 75,000

i think u r not a good driver cultus is not as bad bad car as u r pretending
What does things like missing got to do with anyone being a 'bad driver' ?
