    Question EPS in Cultus VXR

    Hey fellas,

    i've got a 05 VXR Cultus. The car is very well kept. Just the other day my usual mechanic adviced me to get installed an EPS (electronic Power steering) on my ride...now i know u can easily find one for Alto. However i hav a few queries;

    1. Is there a different EPS module for Cultus or the one for Alto is fitted in it??
    2. Has anyone tried it on cultus lately? n if did, wats the outcome??
    3. cost of whole conversion??
    4. Reliability over long-term period.

    Whenever a bird shits on my car, I eat a plate of scrambled eggs on my front porch just to let them know what I'm capable of...

    3. cost of whole conversion??
    The cost I have told is 12K total at Tariq Road.

    4. Reliability over long-term period. --- Plain and less electric componant car lives long, without any surprises.

    if still you want to go for it, get the factory fitted one and <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->Good luck for the deadly plan

    mechanic waisay he chahtay hain kay un ka ghahak laga rahay. What is the need of installing such a thing. I think cultus steering is already not that hard.

    i tried in margalla no alteration required bolt on fit. same will be for cultus as body is 90% same. if you get it done with the finest quality parts and a skilled installer it costs 10k. people will quote 5k but then the system will also be of low quality. my car runs for around 150km daily and it has been a year with electronic power steering installed. no issues and no maintainance required. very very reliable.

    id like to add that i have a 2006 rolla with a hydraulic power steering and the margalla's steering is comparitively both lighter and more responsive.
