    Lightbulb Cultus Break performance

Dear All Cultus user I amd starting this thread to improve CULTUS BREAKS. I have Cultus 2004 my brother drove it and complaint about the break and pickup. He siad that the pickup and breaks of VXRi are far batter than carby.Pick is oboiusly due to EFI 4 cylinder engine with compair to 3 cylinder carby engine. What about the breaks. My queries are:-

1:- Whats is diffrence in the breaking system of VXRi with compair to VXR?
2:- Can it be implemented in VXR to improve its breaks?

    All user/experts please.

same here shazaryab... my 05 vxr brakes have became pathetic over time.....dont know the reason, been to suzuki dealership as well...the guy there say u hav local brakepads installed thats the reason well i asked him price for original pads n he quoted me 5k.....

anyways....there is an absence of emergency brakes....sometimes it feels like i hav ABS installed lol...but high speeds, it worries me...

original MK brake pads are pretty good. I got them installed 3months back, after a week they settled perfectly and their breaking power is excellent. but they also release a lot of dust. just make sure brake fluid is good and discs are smooth.

With time I think Brake Boosters loses the originality and effectiveness, that is why you might feel that.
5K for Brake Pads is insane, please save your hard earned money from them, you will get MK genuine pads in Rs. 800 only from the open market. Some good quality carbon ones are available in Rs. 1200 also and that is max.

How to improve braking in such old cars:
    - Do not press brakes repeatedly for stopping, decreasing speed.
    - Install broader tyres, 175/70/R13. Better brand names like Yokohama will give better road grip and excellent handling, as well as emergency braking.
    - Check and maintain Brake oil with a good quality one (Seiken).
    - Check for air in braking system
