    Default Rpm problem in cultus

    Asslam o Alaikum to All;

    I have a cultus 2007 model Non Efi. Now a days i am facing a problem. Like when i start the car on petrol then its RPM could not be stable. I mean i need to push accelerator otherwise RPM dropped immediatly and engine shut down or some time at petrol if i turned on the AC then it remain stable and some time dropped. However at CNG it remains stable and there is no any problem with and without AC. Please let me know what might be the problem and i have checked with the mechanic and it seems he could not identify the problem properly. Thanks in advance.

    walaikum asalam ,
    cultus has a auto choke system , what is auto choke , auto choke system increase the rpm on start up so your engine gets stable , once your engine gets warm up your rpm goes normal , your problem lies some where there , check your auto choke it might not working properly .

    second assumption your butterfly is faulty that rpm fault comes aswell
    when your butterfly has a play in it , check your butterfly aswell .

    hope that helps !!

    Thanks for the prompt reply brother. Is it the same butterfly which is also called (Carburetor Tikki in desi language)??? If this is the same then i have already get it repaired. However about Auto choke i will discuss with the mechanic (but i am doubtful about this might not be the problem) because it reacts the same as i started the car at night when temperature gauge is in mid.

    Since it is non-efi, it doesn't start on petrol at the start if it is not set to start on petrol...

    Please get it tuned for the Petrol, and also check the Fuel Pump, that is present inside the fuel tank, it might be faulty, if that is okay, than you might need to service your throtle body...
