Arrow Cultus RPM Unstable and a Strange Noise

    Dear fellows,

I own a Cultus 2007 Carby (86,000 KMs) Driven. The problem I am facing on CNG is that when I start the car in the morning its RPM stays at 200 RPM with a lot of vibration but after 5 KMs to 10 KMs drive it roses up to 1500 RPM.

Secondly, when the car's RPM is at 1500 RPM and engine gets hot it gives a little chik chik sound on standing car with engine on. I don't know whether is belt or pulley or the original engine sound.

Please help me an suggest me a good workshop to get this RPM thing done as winter is approaching and this problem will get worse.

    Thanks.

you sure. Coz the poster didnt even mention that the cars consuming oil or the exhaust tip is having oil deposits or even the coolant is slimy or the OIL cap is creamy???

@Poster, i cant say anything about sound, but try to experience the same rpm problem on petrol. If it is not there, I believe the CNG kit needs a service. Dont just clean the low pressure diaphram, also drain the 1st stage pressure reducer as well (requires more than just simply opening the drain screw at the bottom of the kit.

If it is still there on petrol, then Mr. Ahsan may be right, the choke needs a lookup. I would suggest to either get the carburator sprayed by the petrol jet or use any off the shelf carb cleaner over the choke and other throttle control pulleys. Might be the oil+dirt deposits hindering a free operation.

"TAPETS" i believe these cutluses have unadjustable tapets and if they been runing on CNG for some time then the car head needs to be opened tapets need to be adjusted from kharadiye.
