Default Pakistani assembled car's comparison with their first model for e.g.Cultus '01 vs '11

Now before you go further, let me elaborate on the topic title.

I bought my cultus just a week ago, its a 2004 model and while going somewhere with a friend of mine who bought and sold a 2006-7 model, as I asked him to open the dashboard and get me my cigarette packet out. He was surprised to see "A EFFING LOCK ON THE DASHBOARD DOOR", said,"mine didn't have a lock on this cupboard's door".

I was like wait what. They cost. cutting? yeh kia sasti harkatay hayn Pak Suzuki ki?

So lets find a way to compare and see what has been shredded off the newer models and make our old cars appreciate in value as we show the newer cars that ours have more options than yours smart-a$$$$$.

    Nothing to see here.

My dad recently bought me a 2000 Vti Oriel Automatic.Car is 1st owner and is petrol driven since the first day.Has clocked 100500+.The built quality is i can say is far better then 8th gen Civic.Though i love the 8th gen Civic.I have driven it.But you don't get the feel of good quality. All the plastic in interior.Honestly i just love touching the interior of my Civic.Soft!

    Good topic.
2011 Honda City has driver's armrest.

Both iDSI and iVTEC models have clock in the LCD of music player.

The thread is going good, we should discourage the cost reduction techniques by these local manufacturers but if you don't own the vehicle about which you are about to write and you are uncertain about its specs then refrain from providing the wrong information.

They forgot to give trunk light, muffler tip in previous models but now are giving.
Honda used to say about safety first but now they are not giving high mount stop lamp in city which is supposed to be safety feature
LOL @ iDSI having great interior quality. what were you smoking when you were sitting in the car? it had a pathetic interior. the new one isnt much better, but it IS better.

idsi interior is way better then i vtec
idsi has just 3 main positive points over i vtec
    1.super silent engine
2.interior is better then i vtec
3suspension it is much more comfortable then i vtec on bumpy roads
apart from this idsi has many more thing with i vtec owners upto 2009 2010 model cant enjoy
while in i vtec speed is incread to (fastest 1.3l in pak)
braking handling pick grip all r awsum as compared to idsi

the grip on 2011 city is amazing for a car in its category. the grip on 2005 city is very mediocre. and this i tested with 2005 on dunlop tyres and 2011 on euro star.
as for engine? Come on man do you have super human ears? you can barely hear OR feel anything engine related in 2011 city.
as for interior, its subjective. neither you or me know the chemical components of the plastic used and which is truly of a better quality however the 2005 city tended to become dirty easily.

i know that since 2000's they are giving power windows, what i meant was that i wont be surprised if they get influenced by PS or TI and start giving manual windows in low end trims

a friend of mine just came back from saudia, he said that in there, no variant of civic comes with a sunroof... now keeping that as a true statement, we should be thankful to honda atlas for providing us with that.... secondly, some how what i don't understand is that the USDM, UKDM and JDM corollas come with so many options which we here are not getting... why is that so?
