    Question Head Swap Suggestion for Cultus Carby

    I have a cultus carby 06 model and wanted to have an expert opinion as to whether its engine head can be swapped with Swift of early 1990s as the same had adjustable tappets.
    And if the answer is yes then what glitches I might face during and after the process and whether the same is recommended as I dont wont to go for a head job after every 50k to 60k kilometers.

    Please also mention whether it is a bolt on fit or any alterations are required in this regard.

    Do share your experiences in this matter if anyone has done this before.

    you need to check the head specs before doing a swap at a glance everything seems identical however some design difference does exist for spark plugs, combustion- compression space & aligned water lines for cooling system. No harm taking a chance if its a clean swap 1-to-1

    @capsat
    What if there isn't a clean swap do shed ur knowledge as what might be the outcome as in terms of damage to the engine if I go through with it and secondly how to check if the specs of the new head are same as I would only be in a position to check it on my own and would you prefer this swap keeping in mind that on CNG it requires a head job after every 50k kms or so and a good swap might do the trick.
    Please do elaborate as I am still a layman in this area with very nominal knowledge and would appreciate if people like u share knowledge but remember it would be just like teaching a dummy.

    check for the both engine type & year of manufacture.

    am no expert, nor auto engineer or a self righteous mechanic. my knowledge base is purely out of interest and time spend with my vehicles when at workshop.

    I believe SA 310 (SWIFT of 90s) have different head layout then Cultus of 2000's

    head job every 50,000 is nonsense.

    proper maintenance, right amount of coolant, fans working on auto-switch, OEM parts & vigilant eye on vehicle temperature (in summer with CNG & AIRCON) can push sheda majha Tillo Ikki ustads out of business.

    such ustasds survive on people who believe that fuel is only needed to run the car and manufacturer is IDIOT to write a user manual. It is a necessary book in each car requiring attention to know basics of car maintenance for optimum performance.
