    Exclamation Cultus 2002 mileage?

    Salaams!

I have a Cultus 2002. A 50kg CNG cylinder setup was installed many years later. I always refueled from Shell F-7 and got a mileage of approximately 180km per cylinder, summers and winters.

Issue is lots of oil began accumulating in our cars so we boycott it. Also, the compressed gas on the eve of CNG weekends cost more but mileage remained the same.

I now get the car refilled from the HDIP pump in Blue Area/F-7 since the past two months. Mileage is always 140-150 km.

What do you suggest i do to increase the output? There's no way m going back to Shell. Please share your experiences also.

Basically what the previous pump was doing is that they were overfilling the cylinder by may be an extra or more kg thats why you were getting high mileage. You cant really compare a cylinder fill with a cylinder fill you have to compare kgs. For example in my car I have got filled 7.3-9.5 kgs from different pumps. When there is 7.3 kg the car does around 120kms but when there is 9.5 kgs I can comfortably do 160+ so depends upon how much you get filled.

Your statement is subject to conditions. I gave an overall repeated experience based on complete CNG usage till the cylinder empties.

i usually get my CNG filled from Caltex F-10 for, on average, five hundred rs which gives me 130 km. but this time i got it filled from the same Shell F-7 pump. my 50 litr cylinder filled in 747 rs on wednesday morning and it gave me mileage of 200 km till Sunday afternoon. i think its not bad if i want to go throgh the three days of cng loadshedding? however, can u explain the problem of oil accmulation pls?

guys i was also going to shell F-7 for filling, the average car was giving was 200+ in a cylinder and it was pretty well for me , i even had 275 km in one cylinder but at the end what happened that there was alot of oil in the Kit and the step motor was damaged too .. (by the way i have cultus efi 2009) .. so i would not recommend the f-7 shell .. PSO in blue area is recommended , although i dont get the same avg of 200+ but i still get around 200km in city ..

recomemded pressure for cng filling is 200 bars..if you are gettin more gas in cng cylinder, means pressure is above 200 which can be hell alot dangerous..cylinder blow because of over pressureed cng... be safe, drive a few kms on petrol rather than gettin its cng cylinder neck packed with cng just to go thru 3 days of cng closure!

A friend's City was opened up for servicing and all and some minor burst took place. That damaged the few cars in the vicinity, he told me. After this, he also stopped going to the above mentioned Shell.

Some say gas would convert to liquid above 200 bars. Any clue?
