    Default tilted chasis CULTUS cars....real or illusion?

    hi guys. i m buyin new cultus VXR next month. now i have observed something very weird in the last 2 weeks or so as i have started looking at cultus cars critically. there are MANY of them i have seen on the roads who have tilted chasis. earlier i thought its 'cause of the accidented vehicles, but today while coming back from office, i saw a grey colour unregistered VXR. i stopped the guy and he had only done 300 kms, but even his chasis was tilted towards rite a lil. has someone else observed this as well or its just an illusion?
    m concerned abt the chasis strength now..
    comments please

    I haven't observed anything like that in Cultus. I used Cultus for about 2 years!

    @waleed80
    U r right but its not Chassis fualt. it is because cultus have very soft suspension & usualy due to the driver's weight on right side only it seems tilted towards right side. U can observe this thing in any other car but specialy in Cultus with FF CNG its quite prominent. Rear Suspension shoud be upgraded in case of CNG cylinder but our auto manufacturers just put spacers at mounting of rear suspension & say that their FF CNG vehicles have upgraded suspension.

    I've observed the same phenomenon. Not always on new cars but there were definitly some new cars in the list. Being of unibody construction, i dont think its the chassis but the undercarriage thats out of sorts..

    Dear Waleed,
    I have seen some Cultus cars which are tilted as well. I do not know the reason but it definitely happens.

    this problem lies there in cultus...this is the problem in its chassis...

    my fired bought a zero meter cultus 2 years ago..
    and it had the same problem... i observed it while i drove my car behind his car...

    Cultus has got severe quality problems... dont buy... its no value for money..
    Do the environment a favour, Use less airconditioning .. and please walk to the shop to get a pack of cigarretes..its only a 3 min walk..

    the reason for this is no suspension fault ,,,but due to its soft suspension,,,,,,,,

    even when only one person sits in the car ,,,that side tilts towards him,,,,,,,,,this is bcoz of independent suspension of each wheel,,,,,,,not like the mehran,,,,khyber,,,,and alto which dont have independent suspension

    but really its suspension is just too much suited to pakistani roads,,,,,,,,,,it just doesnt give in easily,,,,,,,a tough car

    but now quality problems have creeped up too much

    i had none back in 2003,,,,,,but when i bought a second cultus last year ,,iwas very disappointed with the car and therefore sold it

    I have also observed the same phenomenon while driving on G T Road near Pindi. A brand new silver unregistered Cultus in front of me appeared to be pointing to the right while it was actually moving straight (the wheels were pointing to the front but the body was pointing slightly to the right). Appeared to be a manufacturing flaw as the wheels were probably not aligned or something.

    @waleed80

    by tilted u really mean tilted or u just r confusing the horizontal allignment of the body with chasis?coz most of guys r confusing the two...tilt is not such an issue coz it can be coz of the drivers weight but if u mean that the body is not alligned with chasis, it sure is an issue...but i've not noticed the chasis allignment problem as such..dont worry.. its just that u r being more conscious.. cultus is a nice car.

    @nak

    naheen bhai. i dont mean the tilt as it wud come with weight or something. i mean tha allignment of the upper body not alligned with the chasis. to be more clear, if those cars pass thru a wet patch and go straight, it wud leave 4 tyres marks behind it, not two.although the car moves straight, but the car is actually tilted to a side. like the one i mentioned was towards rite. ma bro has one and its also tilted to the rite. u dont notice it unless u drive behind it in another car. AND....95 percent of them are tilted to the rite

    well brother to be very honest i've never seen such a cultus otherwise i'm much more curious than u (i too have a cultus)...n btw the distance between the front two wheels is never ever the same as the distance between the rear wheels...so it is normal for Every car to leave more than two tread marks...buddy dont worry too much
