Default I'm in a lot of trouble! Cultus 2007 -- RPM falls back to zero and car gets shutdown

    Dear Everybody,

I've Cultus 2007 & it's giving me an RPM problem. The RPM falls back to zero and forces the car to shutdown. The problem is coming on Petrol, but I've seen it occasionally happening on CNG as well. I've been to five different mechanics in last couple of weeks & all to no avail.

I've had butterfly changed, corburator & diaphragm services/repaired. When I bring the car from workshop, it works ok, but, when I shut it down -- normally -- and restart it after a while(say after few hours) it gives me the same problem i.e. RPM quickly drops to zero and with it cat gets shutdown. Please help

    Regards,

ensure engine temperature gauge is at normal range (half needle) - adjust carburettor at this temperature. Mostly its just a sticking throttle stop screw.

I find thin flare spanners to work best on them.
