Default Cultus help and info required regarding fuel consumption

Hi folks hope you all are fine,

First of all a warm greeting in cold winter

What I want to discuss is I have a cultus o9 the efi version with FF cng due to the recent issues of so called cng station malkans and unavailability of cng I have started driving it on petrol but petrol too much in my perspective I have recently got it's throttle body serviced and plugs replaced with air filter too but no improvements

What I am getting is 100kms per 1000 rs petrol

    Which is around 9.5km/L

And I drive it with very light foot mostly between 1.5k to 2.5 k rpm

Is it okay or the millage should be improved and any good mechanic any one car recommend in pindi islamabad
    ISLAMABAD IS PREFERED

    THANX for viewing my thread

    Regards

Alto got old carby engine of 80's, so it really won't go beyond 10-11 Km/L.

EFI engine's are supposed to do better and should easily do 13Km, even the 1300cc swift can do 13Km/L in city. Other cultus owners can guide you better.

Same situation. I havr cultus carby 07, and get (should i say used to get :p) 160-170km per cylinder on CNG (reasonable enough) but getting approx the same on petrol as you have stated..

May be our cultus cars are addicted to CNG and on a row with us when we force petrol down thier throttle body instead of CNG

we use cng all the time thats the reason our cars are not tuned up on petrol and even when we get our cars tuned up the mechanics tune it only on cng and not on petrol. I own a 2010 pkdm alto with FF cng. I always go to a company authorised workshop as the people there are reliable and best of all as the mechanics at Suzuki Rawalpindi Motors (Dont know about other workshops) are paid on monthly bases and not on every car so they do a very satisfying job. My car on cng Gave me about 210 km in a full cylinder of cng and now on petrol i get about 15 - 16 kmpl. Get your cars tuned, Get the spark plugs cleaned or changed if required and get new air filter. nowadays spark plugs the normal ones work only for 10 to 15 k kms. Drive Safe

I have always had a bad experience with Suzuki Dealerships when it comes to engine tunning. Everytime i went there the power on CNG sucks, and i had to go to my regular mechanic to get the power back.

Can anyone suggest a good dealership to visit in Lahore, preferabely around Johar Town?

I am getting 12Km per litre in city drive on my 06 carby. And yes, Cultus is not good at consumption.
    Get your butterfly checked maybe.
I get 16KM per litre on long routes though.
