    Default Liana or Cultus

Aoa,I am thinking of getting a new car.I am thinking of getting a new cultus or a used liana.Which one should I go for?One of my relative once brought a liana back in 2005 or 2006 and he sold her because in his view point Liana was a piece of crap.
Please suggest me which one should I go for and tell is liana hard to maintain? Are the spare parts expensive as compared to cultus? It is fuel efficent?

If the only choice is either a Liana or a Cultus, then

I have had a Liana for 3 years,
and now I have a Cultus for the 4th year.....based on my experience
    buy a new Cultus.....

    Liana is crap.

Liana is a nice ride....i have been driving one for years, both on petrol and cng.... its millage is more than 200000..... and believe me it was total genuine before i handed it over to my wife.....
A sedan in this price is worth it......i got its engine swapped recently just because it got over heated obviously by my mistake cuz no body checked its water level for months....

Liana was discontinued due to some unknown reasons. However people face lots of difficulties in fixing Liana issues. Might be because of stupid mechnics. Many people sold their Liana.

Cultus is a car who has good re-sale, parts are easily available and maintainance is also cheep. Many road side mechanics can also fix this car however I dont recommend you to get work done from them.

Apart from this, Liana is bigger car and in my experience it is quite fast on CNG as well and on Petrol it runs like rocket. In short runs it can beat Hondas and Toyotas of same class. At high speed stability is issue and high speed torque is also missing. In simple if you want to use it as normal city drive, it is quite good. It is sedan and you will get a diggi which is quite useful thing which Cultus lacks.

But if your family is not big, then you should prefer brand new cultus over a used (and might be abused) Liana.
